The folks at DisplayMate have just finished reviewing the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and their verdict is that it is "...the Best Performing Smartphone Display, earning DisplayMate’s highest ever A+ grade." According to them, the Galaxy Note 8 offers a 3K higher resolution display of 2960 x 1440 pixels which is certified by the UHD Alliance, allowing it to play the same 4K High Dynamic Range content produced for 4K UHD TVs.
