Setel, Petronas’ eWallet platform and petrol payment solution recently announced that you can now pay for parking in Selangor and certain other states with the app. Previously, parking for the various districts and councils in Selangor could only be paid for online via certain apps like Flexi Parking and so forth, so it’s pretty good news that we can now do more with the Setel app.

Today, Setel has introduced a new EV (electric vehicle) Charging feature for EV users. From now on, EV users can locate their preferred charging station as well as the type of charger, and activate the charger via the Setel Wallet app.

Setel, the app from Petronas that’s integrated directly to fuel pumps for ease of use may have just made purchasing petrol even easier with an upcoming update. Well, that is if you own an Apple Watch, as Setel recently teased that it may be launching an app for the Apple Watch.

Today, Setel has announced a new partnership with GrabPay Malaysia to provide GrabPay as a top-up option when reloading the Setel Wallet. Not only is it offering convenience, but there are also inclusive and rewarding experiences for both Setel and GrabPay users. 

After launching the Setel Express delivery service last month, it seems that Setel Malaysia is not resting on its laurels and has added yet another new feature on its app. This time around, Setel is introducing an Automated Parking Payment service that has no surcharge and uses license plate recognition for a seamless parking experience.

Setel has been around in Malaysia for quite some time now and just recently, the company just announced a new Setel Share feature. It is the first e-wallet sharing feature in Malaysia that allows motorists to pay for fuel via the Setel app without being at any Petronas stations.

For those of you who use the Setel app, this could be good news for you. The app is now officially available for use at over 800 Kedai Mesra stores across the country. This means that it's now a viable payment option at the store, allowing you to pay for items without needing to bring cash.

Just in case you forgot, Setel app is Malaysia’s first e-payment that allows consumers to pay for refuelling directly from the app that is own by PETRONAS. Now there are new services that can offer convenience to the consumers which are Deliver2Me and Setel Wallet.

Petronas’ e-payment solution Setel can now let you pay for fuel by redeeming your Mesra Points via the Setel app. Mesra Points are generally points that you get when you buy fuel or items from Petronas stations, so it basically means you get Petronas fuel for free.
