Back in October, Touch ’n Go eWallet introduced a new Visa Travel Card for Malaysians. Today, the company officially extended the Visa Travel Card Cashback campaign until 31 December 2026. The move is part of the company’s continued push to give Malaysian travellers more value when spending overseas.

Touch ’n Go eWallet has expanded its financial offerings with the launch of the Visa Travel Card, a prepaid card designed specifically for Malaysians who frequently travel abroad. The new card promises greater convenience and savings for international spending, combining attractive cashback rewards with zero foreign exchange (FX) fees.

Touch ’n Go Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with STAR Systems International (SSI), has successfully demonstrated Malaysia’s Multi-Lane Fast Flow (MLFF) Proof of Concept (PoC) — a major leap toward barrier-free, high-speed tolling across the nation’s highways.

In conjunction with the BUDI95 announcement, Touch 'n Go eWallet recently confirmed that Malaysians can claim the subsidy on its app. As one of the official digital platforms supporting the programme, the feature will roll out in stages starting 27 September, with full public access starting 30 September 2025.

According to The Star, Malaysians will soon be able to verify their eligibility for the Budi Madani RON95 (BUDI95) petrol subsidy online, starting 25 September 2025. The move is intended to streamline access and reduce friction ahead of the subsidy’s full rollout.

Today, the full digitalisation of the My50 Travel Pass is now available on the Touch 'n Go eWallet app. It was officiated by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, in partnership with Touch ‘n Go Group, whereby Malaysian commuters will be able to purchase and activate the pass on the app, starting on 1 July 2025.

In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya festive season, LG Malaysia has unveiled the ‘Raya Berkat, Ganjaran Hebat’ promotion, starting from now until 30 April 2025. During the promotion, customers can now enjoy an exciting opportunity to receive Duit Raya up to RM188 Touch ‘n Go (TNG) eWallet credits, complemented by attractive rewards on LG’s premium home appliances.

Today, TNG Digital announced a new partnership with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), to advance financial inclusion for refugees and asylum-seekers in Malaysia. A Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties was signed on World Refugee Day 2024.

Besides paying for tolls and public transportation, you can’t really do much else with the money stored inside your Touch ’n Go card. While many would assume that the remaining balance would be lost forever if the card is stolen, damaged or expired, this is actually not the case, as Touch ’n Go allows users to request a cash refund for the remaining balance online.

Touch ’n Go eWallet recently unveiled a new feature called “SOS Balance”, which ensures users never get stuck at critical moments due to insufficient eWallet balance. Currently available for toll payments at certain highways only, the feature will cover essential payments on users’ behalf.
