The cases of Covid-19 in Malaysia have increased to a total number of 553 by today. While the cases are increasing, it doesn’t mean we have to panic over the virus and cause unwanted chaos in our society. At this time, we think that everyone should follow the precautions to stay away from crowded places and keep yourself hygienic. Meanwhile, in the US, Google’s sister company has developed a site which offers free Covid-19 screening tests to specific counties, as one of the measures proposed by the US President Donald Trump.

Covid-19 is here to haunt us in 2020. Just today, Italy has come to a decision of locking down the country as 9,000 and more people have been diagnosed with the virus. Not only Italy, but the cases in our country have also been increasing recently. Now, Google is trying to do something to help out the situation, as it is calling businesses to update their status on Google Maps to let the public know if they are affected.

The coronavirus has spread from land to land and almost every country has started to take precautions against it. From banning China travellers entering the country to cancelling events, these are the things that are currently happening to ensure people’s health and safety. Although the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 has not been cancelled, there are still few exhibitors who announced that they will not be joining this year. Today, Sony becomes the fifth exhibitor to pull out from the event, in concern of the virus outbreak as well.

The unfortunate virus outbreak has caused several events to be delayed. Not long ago, Huawei postponed its largest event which is Huawei Developer Conference 2020 to a later date due to the issue. Other than that, LG has also pulled out from this year’s Mobile World Congress 2020 for safety-related concerns. Now, we might have to wait for the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020 to happen at another time as the virus is still spreading across the lands.

Many of you must be familiar with the tragic news that happened in Wuhan, China. The disease outbreak has caused the region to be quarantined and 11 million people are currently barred from leaving.
