Once upon a time, camera phones were just a niche product, but as time has gone on, we now have camera phone series like the vivo X90 series. Consisting of the vivo X90 and X90 Pro, even the base model of the X90 features a triple rear camera consisting of a 50MP camera with OIS + 12MP wide angle + 12MP telephoto using ZEISS T* coating lenses. 

vivo have officially launched their X90 series with the vivo X90 and X90 Pro. Priced at RM3699, the vivo X90 features a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, dedicated V2 ISP chip, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Other tech specs include a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP IMX866 + 12MP portrait + 12MP ultra-wide IMX663 triple rear camera with ZEISS T* lens coating, 32MP front camera and 4810 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. 

After being teased about its imminent launch in Malaysia by vivo, the tech company has finally unveiled the release date of the vivo X90 series in our country. In a press release today, the company officially announced a launching event for the smartphone series will be held in our country on 3 February 2023.

Dedicated camera phones are becoming more and more powerful and thanks to their size and design they’re a lot more portable than most DSLR cameras. Last year, the vivo X80 series made its mark as one of the better camera phones of 2022, so this year's vivo X90 promises even better as it not only features a triple rear camera consisting of a 50MP camera with OIS + 12MP wide angle + 12MP telephoto it also has ZEISS T* coating lenses.

vivo has brought the vivo X90 series to the market today. The latest flagship series brings three devices - vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. As the event is still happening, let's have a look at what the already-announced vanilla X90 has to offer!

Earlier this month, it was suggested that the vivo X90 series could launch in December 2022. This is because the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will only launch in mid-November. However, vivo's new devices could surface earlier than expected.

The vivo X80 series only arrived near the end of the first half of 2022. However, a new report claims that the next X90 series will get presented as early as December. It's expected to launch in China before making its way to other countries, so we might still have to wait until next year to get the devices.
