Smartphone manufacturers are planning ways to increase the whole display proportions on smartphones and one of them will be reducing the notch sizes for the front selfie cameras and even turn it into an under-screen camera. A few days ago, vivo’s latest patent has been leaked with a detachable camera.

Based on a statement by gizchina, it seems that future vivo smartphones could come equipped with image sensors that were developed by vivo themselves. While not much is known in regards to the exact smartphones that will come with the aforementioned image sensor, it does give us a better idea of what to expect from vivo in the future.

Just yesterday, vivo unveiled their latest OriginOS which will replace ColorOS in the future.
