About two weeks ago, vivo launched the vivo X80 series in China, showcasing two new impressive flagship devices. If you were hoping to get one for yourself, that's great because vivo Malaysia just released both models here earlier today.

vivo Malaysia just launched the vivo T1 5G and T1x today and soon, the vivo X80 series will be launching in the Chinese market. With this, the former has taken the opportunity to announce that the upcoming flagship is arriving in Malaysia too.

According to vivo Malaysia, the vivo X80 series - jointly developed with ZEISS - will be announced on 8 May 2022 (yes, it's a Sunday). It's not known if there will be a livestream video on that day but we think there should be one since it's a norm nowadays. So in view of the launch, the company will also release a short film that was shot entirely from the X80 series.

Earlier this month, vivo launched several eye-catching new devices, including the vivo Pad, vivo X Fold as well as the vivo X Note. Well, the Chinese tech giant is not resting on its laurels it seems as it is set to unveil another device, the vivo x80 later this month.

A few years ago, brands used to have a product lifecycle of around a year. But the industry is ultra-competitive, so it's not a surprise that some brands churn out new models faster. For vivo, it has a new X series already on the way.

The vivo X70 series only debuted in Malaysia not long ago in September, but it looks like the company is already rushing to deliver the vivo X80 series to us.
