The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) has issued a public warning regarding a fake website impersonating its official platform in Malaysia. In a recent announcement shared on 12 May 2026, MOTAC urged users not to visit the suspicious website and to remain cautious of possible scam activities linked to the portal.

According to The Star, Malaysians will soon be able to verify their eligibility for the Budi Madani RON95 (BUDI95) petrol subsidy online, starting 25 September 2025. The move is intended to streamline access and reduce friction ahead of the subsidy’s full rollout.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that the authorities have blocked access to 1675 websites selling illegal pharmaceutical products in Malaysia. The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) today iterated that it has NEVER offered any schemes that reward members with monetary pay-off. Shared on its official Facebook page, EPF warned its members to not fall for such a scam and to not click on the link attached to the email. Furthermore, the statutory body also stressed that it has never appointed or authorised any third parties to offer such a reward.
