There's just something about vivo Malaysia releasing budget-friendly phones over a couple of months. The last one was the Y93 phone back in April and now this time, they are announcing that the Y17 pre-order is now available until 10 May 2019 for RM999.
Oddly, no price tag was given but knowing the Y-series, it would probably be below RM1000. Those who pre-order the Y17 will be able to have an extended 6 months warranty card and an extra 6 months screen-crack warranty, as well as a free mini Bluetooth speaker.
On the tech specs, this will be vivo's first budget-friendly AI Triple Camera phone that consists of a 13MP main camera + 8MP AI Super-Wide Angle camera + 2MP depth camera. There's also a 20MP front camera on the 6.35-inch Halo Fullview display, 4GB of RAM, 128GB ROM, 5000mAh battery with Dual-Engine Fast Charging technology and more.
