Typically, a new generation of iOS will always be released at the same time as the new iPhone model. We just recently talked about iOS 18 but it seems that many features won't be ready by then. According to sources, here are the 10 delayed iOS 18 features.
From the looks of it, most of the delayed features are quite minor. This includes the revamped Mail app that can categorise different types of mail such as primary, transactions, promotions and updates. Another two iOS 18 features are the Home app's robot vacuum support and monitoring your home electricity usage (only in the US).
On top of that, a few Apple Intelligence features will only come "in the course of next year". So some of the highlight features like Memories in Photos, Writing Tools and Image Playground won't be coming so soon. Moreover, ChatGPT, the improved Siri and the Clean Up tool (to remove unwanted subjects and objects in a photo) are confirmed to be delayed.
With that, at least we know that the customisation for the Home Screen, Lock Screen and Control Centre is on schedule. The same goes for the personalised Message whereby users can use an all-new text effect for any letter, word, phrase, or emoji with dynamic, animated appearances.
