With all the craze of AI on smartphones these days, Apple has finally introduced its Apple Intelligence feature for the iPhone, iPad and Mac. So what can we expect from Apple's generative AI? Here's what the company has presented so far.

Starting with the iPhone, Apple Intelligence can now help users in their writing and communications effectively. Built into iOS 18 in the next few months, users can rewrite, proofread, and summarise text nearly everywhere they write, including Mail, Notes, Pages, and third-party apps. Also as expected, users can create images in seconds, choosing from three styles: Animation, Illustration, or Sketch via Image Playground on Messages.

Then on the Photos app, Apple Intelligence will pick out the best photos and videos based on the description, craft a storyline with chapters based on themes identified from the photos, and arrange them into a movie with its own narrative arc. In addition, a new Clean Up tool can identify and remove distracting objects in the background of a photo — without accidentally altering the subject.

According to Apple, Siri will also be boosted by Apple Intelligence. Siri will become more "natural", contextually relevant, and personal. As usual, users can type to Siri, and switch between text and voice to communicate. ChatGPT is also integrated into Siri and systemwide Writing Tools across Apple’s platforms.

On the other hand, both the iPad and Mac will have the same Apple Intelligence features such as Writing Tools and Image Playground, as well as Memories in the Photos app. To read about iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia and watchOS 11, you can visit the links below.
