Apple announces iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 with Retina screen and more, catch event here

In a keynote event held just yesterday, Apple has revealed the latest versions of their iPad and iPad Mini tablets confirming many of the rumours and leaked images that surfaced before this official announcement. While many of the obvious rumours were confirmed such as the 5th generation Apple iPad tablet getting a redesign along with the Apple iPad Mini 2 getting a new Retina Display, there were some surprises revealed. First off, the 5th generation Apple iPad tablet will be called the Apple iPad Air and the iPad Mini 2 or Apple iPad Mini with Retina Display gets a much better processor than earlier thought. Apple also revealed a number of other things including the latest Apple OS X desktop operating system called Mavericks (which can be download for free), the new Apple Macbook Pro 13 and 15 featuring Intel Haswell processors and chipset along with the cannister-like Apple Mac Pro workstation.
