Sometimes, it feels like the smartphone lifecycle never seems to pause. Barely weeks after the iPhone 16 series launched, the rumour mill for next year's iPhones has begun churning. Specifically, rumours about an alleged iPhone 17 Air model.
OK, to be fair the rumours (like this one) about this slim iPhone 17 Air have been around for months . However, new updates have provided some details about this new iPhone. According to MacRumors, analyst Jeff Pu believes that the iPhone 17 Air will pack a 6.6-inch display. It's also expected to feature the 3nm Apple A19 chip from TSMC, a single 48MP rear camera, and a 24MP front camera.
More importantly, the iPhone 17 Air will allegedly differentiate itself with a new design. The new model is also expected to be the mid-tier model for the iPhone 17 series and will replace the iPhone 17 Plus. As for new features, Apple Intelligence is expected to finally show up next year. Existing features are expected to return, but we can't confirm any other new features yet.
The iPhone 16 Plus isn't shipping as many units as expected, so the iPhone 17 Air could turn things around next year. But what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates like this.
