Apple iPad 2025 Malaysia pre-order - A16 chip and up to 512GB, starting price at RM1,599

Besides the announcement of the new iPad Air M3, Apple also unveiled a new iPad on its website. At the moment, there's no availability, but the starting price has been revealed at RM1,599.

For your information, this will be the 11th Gen of the iPad family, and the last one that came out was in 2022. While the design remains more or less the same, the new iPad now comes with an A16 chipset, alongside 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options. The display is now slightly bigger than before, measuring 11 inches.

The new iPad has a Liquid Retina display with a 2360 x 1640 pixel resolution and 500 nits brightness. In addition, the displays have a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating and support Apple Pencil (Type C and 1st Gen). You can also find a 12MP wide camera on the back, which supports up to 5x digital zoom and 4K video recording (up to 60 FPS). Meanwhile, the 12MP Centre Stage camera is on the front.

With three storage options, below are the official prices for each model alongside the WiFi + Cellular version:

  • 128GB - from RM1,599 (+Cellular RM2,299)
  • 256GB - from RM1,999 (+Cellular RM2,699)
  • 512GB - from RM2,899 (+Cellular RM3,599)

 

You can also choose to have a personalised engraving on your new iPad. If you want an Apple Pencil, the Type C and 1st Gen models cost RM349 and RM449, respectively. Meanwhile, adding a Magic Keyboard Folio costs RM1,149. You can buy an iPad without the Apple Pencil and Keyboard.

Users can trade in their older iPads and get a rebate between RM100 and RM7,050, depending on how well the unit is. For more information, you can visit the official website here.
