Those looking for a new iPad mini might have to wait just a bit longer. First rumoured back in November last year, Apple was slated to launch the iPad mini 6 in 2H 2021. Now, sources claim that the launch window is around Fall 2021.

According to Mark Gurman (via Gizmochina), Apple is working on the launch of its redesigned iPad mini 6. It is expected to launch in the US Fall season, which is between late September to December 2021. For your information, Apple launched its latest iPad Air and 8th-Gen iPad on 16 September 2020. We're expecting the iPad mini 6 to launch within 1-2 weeks of that date.

So, what's new with the iPad mini 6? As mentioned, the new model is expected to have a redesign, one that would make it look similar to last year's iPad Air. It's also allegedly going to come with Touch ID. Moreover, there could be a new A15 Bionic chipset, though we don't have any news on that so far.

When it comes to tablets, the iPad mini is probably the size I would prefer over the standard iPad or iPad Pro. But how about you? What's the ideal tablet screen size for you? Share your preference in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for potential updates on this.
