If you were waiting for news on the new Apple MacBooks with ARM-based CPUs, you might have to wait a bit more. It was previously rumoured that Apple may be looking to hold an official announcement event in October for the MacBook, similar to the annual event in September for iPhones. But now it's said that this event will not be happening.
According to Komiya, sources suggest that there will be no October event. Of course, this doesn't mean that Apple has no intentions of launching new MacBooks. It's possible that the hardware is not ready yet and are currently unsure of when it will be. With that being the case, Apple opting to skip an official event and just release the product when it is ready isn't all that unusual. Of course, they could just be looking to postpone the event.
My new source suggests that there is no October event at which Apple is to unveil Apple Silicon MacBooks and more

Anyway, this rumoured event was supposed to reveal new MacBooks that use ARM-based CPUs, with the Apple A14X Bionic chipset said to be the one to be used. This upcoming MacBook is also expected to have up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, and a whopping 15-20 hours of battery life. But the important part is still the shift to an ARM chipset, which will help make future MacBooks more affordable.
Of course, we can't write off an official unveiling since this rumour has yet to be verified. But do you think Apple can afford to skip an event, or would you like them to showcase the differences of the new ARM-based MacBooks?
