As Samsung tops Global TV Market for 17th consecutive year, Display VP confirms foldable tablets, laptops and monitors are coming

Samsung recently won the top position of the Global TV Market for the 17th consecutive year, but in related news, Sung-Chan Jo, Samsung Display Vice President recently confirmed that they will spread foldable display technology widely. We previously saw several Samsung foldable display tech at CES 2023, suggesting that we could see foldable tablets, laptops and monitors from the company soon.

Samsung have spearheaded the foldable display smartphone industry with the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 from last year. More such devices are coming out from other brands, so we expect that it’s only a matter of time before Samsung expands their foldable display range of devices.

While they haven’t mentioned any TVs yet, we expect foldable Samsung TVs or monitors that could switch between curved displays and flat displays as well like the recent LG OLED Flex monitor.
