It's been some time since Astro launched the Ultra Box streaming service and it has been doing relatively well. But making it a separate service you have to sign up to may be hard to convince people to get it over another service like Netflix. That's why Astro has decided to provide the Ultra Box service to Astro IPTV customers as well.
Starting from today, Astro IPTV customers who have a Maxis Home Fibre connection will now be able to enjoy the Ultra Box service. This means that you get to watch all the 4K channels and up to 50000 of available on-demand content. Besides that, customers get to enjoy features like cloud recording, streaming on the go with a mobile device, and more.
Additionally, Astro has confirmed that all IPTV customers will get the upgrade for free and can enjoy rebates for the first 24 months of you using the service. New Astro IPTV customers from Starter Pack onwards will get a rebate of RM10/month while existing Super Pack and Super Pack Plus customers will get RM20/month rebates.
