Could this be the next generation Kirin 970 found in the Mate 10 teaser video?

The Huawei Mate 10 promos have been going on for a while and by now you should know that the Mate 10 will be unveiled on 16 October 2017 at Munich, Germany. However, according to PhoneArena, we may have missed something from one of their teaser videos.

If you look closely enough from the 14 second mark of the teaser video, you’ll notice the sloppily blurred out number from the Kirin processor.

Now whoever made this video is either lazy or is pouring extra sauce on the tease fries because this may be hint that the latest Mate device may have a brand new Kirin chip instead of the Kirin 960. It’s obvious that the latest Mate device will be the Mate 10 but there’s no reason to blur out the Kirin 960 so, a big thinker there.

Huawei is still keeping their lips sealed on the specs of the Mate 10 except the camera specs which was revealed to be a 12MP RGB + 20MP monochrome setup based on a previous coverage a week ago.

However don’t take my word for it, these are still merely rumours so remember to take it with a pinch of salt. For all we know it could be a Kirin 960s or something so let’s just sit back and wait for the official news but remember to stay tuned to TechNave.com to get the latest and greatest updates.
