Drone maker DJI released a teaser site yesterday that strongly hinted at a new product. With a call to "Up Your Game", this is suggested an upgrade or new version to an existing product. The teaser also confirms a date of 27 April 2020, which is when this new product will be launched.

Considering the rumour about it last month, the new product should be the DJI Mavic Air 2. OsitaLV (verified drone pilot) had posted a series of leaks about the Mavic Air 2 in recent weeks, so the possibility is quite high. A few things we know about the new drone so far is that it would sport the same design as its predecessor but will be smaller in size. Also, you will be able to attach your phone to the top of the controller.

Aside from the design, OsitaLV also confirmed that the Mavic Air 2 will come with a 3500mAh battery and that it won't have a top obstacle sensor. The previous Mavic Air didn't have one either, meaning that the new model may not have improved much in the obstacle sensing department. But considering the near 2-year gap between models, there should be some other improvements that haven't been revealed.

Of course, there's always the possibility that DJI is going to announce another product. Back in December 2019, a patent for a remote-controlled all-terrain vehicle by DJI was leaked. Having said all that, what do you think? Is it going to be the Mavic Air 2 or something else? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
