Did Amazon just leak the names of the unreleased OnePlus devices?

While all the other smartphones are trying different directions with their naming strategies, it looks like there is still a brand that thinks the marketing ploy would be unnecessary. OnePlus has now released 7 generations of devices together and the 8th is on its way. Many are also curious about whether the company will change its latest devices’ naming system since the others are doing so. However, someone has spotted the new OnePlus devices in an Amazon listing and they still will continue to be called OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

Not only the names have been confirmed by Amazon, but the appearance of the devices in a listing of an online shopping platform is also quite ‘scandalous’. Does it mean that the devices will be available soon? Nope, we don’t really think so. OnePlus 7 was being launched in May 2019, so it is not quite possible for the new devices to come out this early if we’re looking at the correct time frame. However, who knows what will happen?

To recall, the OnePlus 8 series is rumored to have a bunch of impressive tech specs including a 120Hz display and a 12GB size of RAM. The OnePlus 8 Pro has also been benchmarked and scored 4296 points in the single-core test and 12,531 points in the multi-core test. Other than that, the new devices are said to be featuring wireless charging support as well which OnePlus has never adopted the technology into their former devices.
