Samsung didn't hold back at its second Galaxy Unpacked event last night. However, out of all the newly announced devices, the one thing that is not coming to Malaysia is the Galaxy Ring. Initially teased earlier this year, the ring is finally revealed and here's what you need to know.
The Galaxy Ring was the first device to be announced last night. For starters, it is the latest health-monitoring wearable designed to be worn 24/7 and can last up to seven days of battery life on a single charge. Like other smartwatches, the Galaxy Ring will focus on three major functions - sleep, activities and heart monitoring.
By pairing up with Samsung Health, the ring will send detailed information to the phone and release various health reports. On that note, the Galaxy Ring is also made of lightweight titanium and can withstand various temperatures wherever you bring it. Samsung also claims that it can withstand hundreds of charge cycles.
Users can choose three different colours (silver, black and gold) in nine size options. But as aforementioned, the Galaxy Ring will not be available in Malaysia. At the moment, it costs $399 (~RM1875) and there are no hidden subscription fees for any health-related functions.

We can only hope that one day, the Galaxy Ring will come to Malaysia. That said, other Galaxy devices are now available for pre-order and you can check them out in the links below:
