If you have a lot of apps that come with ads, you'll either find them annoying or get used to them. But Google launched a service last year that will allow you to use most of these apps without having to see all those ads in them! Google has extended the trial period of its Google Play Pass service now, so you can use it more before deciding whether to subscribe.

According to the official Twitter post, Google is extending the Google Play Pass free trial period from two weeks to 30 days. However, the extension will only be valid for those who sign up before 14 May 2020. Signing up will let you access a variety of apps or play many of the games on Google Play Store, without the bothersome ads or having to pay for in-app purchases.

Outside of the free trial, the Play Pass will command a monthly subscription fee of USD 4.99 (~RM22). However, the pass doesn't apply to certain apps that rely on multiple in-app purchases to make money. For example, games like the recently launched ROCKMAN X DiVE. More importantly, the Play Pass is currently available only in the USA, with availability in Malaysia yet to be announced.

Since the Play Pass can be shared with 6 other family members, we do think that some Malaysians would be interested in subscribing to it. But for now, the only way to get it is to have a US Google Play account. Having said that, would you sign up for this kind of service?
