HUAWEI had launched its first 16-inch MateBook back in May in China, and now the company is ready to bring it to the other corner of the world. The MateBook 16 with AMD processors will be making its way to Europe, which also hints at possibilities for the laptop to arrive in Malaysia.

To recap, the MateBook 16 is powered by either AMD Ryzen 5 5600H and Ryzen 7 5800H processor. The chips also have a built-in Vega GPU with a standard TDP at 35W, hitting Fn+P buttons will bring you to Performance mode by pushing it to 54W. For display, the 16-inch IPS LCD comes with 2,520 x 1,680 px resolution, 1,500:1 contrast ratio, peak brightness of 300 nits, HDR, 100% of the sRGB color gamut and more.

For the ports, the laptop includes two for USB-C, a full-size HDMI, a 3.5 mm headphone/microphone combo jack, and two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports. There are also supports for Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.1.

The MateBook 16 Ryzen 5 5600H version will be priced at €1,100 (~RM5,333) in Europe, while the Ryzen 7 5800H will be €1,200 (~RM5,818). Leave a comment to let us know your thoughts on this laptop and stay tuned to TechNave.com for the latest tech report.
