The HarmonyOS 2.0 beta has recently started to roll out for mobile apps developers and as a public beta for some HUAWEI smartphones. With that going on, we expect the stable version of the OS (operating system) to be soon available for HUAWEI smartphone users next year. Before that happens, HUAWEI is dropping a smart screen product that comes with the HarmonyOS next week and the teaser looks interesting.

Today, HUAWEI officially announced that they will be launching a smart screen product on 21 December with a teaser poster that hints at some of the features we can look forward to. The teaser poster includes questions like "Why can't I change the channel without the remote control?", "Why can't I play with my phone without looking at it?", and "Why can't I make a call without using my phone?". They all hint at something that has to do with deep integration with smartphones.

According to previous reports, the upcoming HUAWEI Smart Screen S series could have a 55-inch 60Hz display and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For now, other tech specs are still unknown but we'll get to know it all in just a few days.
