When Huawei launched the Huawei Mate 30 Pro last month, they’ve included a ton of features as well as high-end tech specs in the device such as two 40MP image sensors, Kirin 990 chipset, 8GB of RAM and more. As for the video aspect, the smartphone is able to record up to 7680FPS Ultra Slow-motion which could bring any fast moving object to a crawl.

To the uninitiated, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is able to slow down recordings up to 8 times slower compared to their competitors due to the fact that other smartphones will usually be able to record up to only 960FPS. The Ultra Slow-motion feature is suitable for any kinds of situations including sports, wildlife, your daily breakfast cereal and more.

The ultra slow-motion can be easily accessed via the “more” section in the camera app. Below is a small compilation of videos taken via the Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s 7680FPS Ultra Slow-motion recording.

Ultra Slow-mo Hummingbird

The ultra slow-motion recording on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is able to slow down the wings of the Hummingbird, which usually flaps at around 70 times a second. Not only that, at first glance I noticed that there were barely any motion blur from the footages that were showcased. With all that said, it would be interesting to see how how large the 7680FPS recordings are in terms of file size.
