With the OnePlus 9 series launching this week, it's no wonder we're seeing leaks every day. We've even seen official renders of the standard and Pro variant, as well as details of a third variant. But now sources claim that the latter could be region-exclusive.
Evan Blass, a reliable leaker, has recently posted uncompressed renders of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. But what caught our attention is his statement that the OnePlus 9R is rumoured to only be available in India. Of course, it does make sense as the 9R is expected to have mid-range specs.
The OnePlus 9 series is expected to launch with a 50W wireless charger
On that topic, the OnePlus 9R is expected to come with a Snapdragon 690 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. As you can see, the memory and storage are decent but the chipset isn't all that impressive. OnePlus could also use cheaper materials for the model, which would help bring down the cost and make it more affordable.
Mind you, Blass did say that it was a rumour, so do take the news with a grain of salt. Depending on the market, OnePlus could still launch the 9R there. But would you be interested in getting it? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about it.
