There hasn't been a lot of news on another foldable from Huawei, but if there aren't any major delays it should be available within this year. The Huawei Mate X2 is expected to launch in 2020 and sources have claimed that the display is getting an upgrade.

Digital Supply Chain Consultants' Ross Young tweeted a list of devices that should come with 120Hz in 2020 and the Huawei Mate X2 is included in the list. This is a big upgrade over the first Mate X foldable, which came with a standard 60Hz screen. Back in February, a patent found on the EUIPO was believed to be for the Huawei Mate X2 and it came with a stylus. It also had two front cameras and four rear cameras.

Besides the Huawei Mate X2, Young's list also confirms that the 120Hz display will be equipped on a few upcoming phones. These include Samsung's Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Note 20+, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, as well as the vivo X50 Pro+ and ROG Phone 3. There's also the Sharp Aquos Zero 2 that will supposedly have a 240Hz display, but Sharp devices never launch in Malaysia.

It looks like brands are pulling out all the stops for the big foldable devices this year, so they're going to be worth looking forward to. Having said that, what else do you think the Huawei Mate X2 should have? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
