Companies tend to hold back smartphone reveals for MWC, with CES 2021 being the preferred stage for a wider range of other electronics. So for Huawei, the P50 series and Kirin 9010 chipset that's being rumoured won't be around soon. Instead, we might be seeing two new MateBook laptops.

According to Gizchina, there's going to be two new MateBook laptops that will feature the same design from the MateBook 13 and 14. If you recall, the MateBook 14 launched here on 20 October 2020 with AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPUs and integrated Vega GPUs. However, the new rumoured models are expected to feature the 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs, as well as the Nvidia GeForce MX 450 GPU.

On top of that, Huawei is allegedly transitioning its App Gallery for PCs. As you can see from one of the screenshots above (machine translated), there's is a desktop icon for the PC version of App Gallery. However, we're not sure if Huawei plans to transition its mobile apps for desktop use, or have completely different programs for use on its PCs.

Mind you, the news above are still rumours, so do take them with a grain of salt. But having said that, which PC versions of previously mobile-only apps would you like to have? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
