While Huawei was showing off all the new products - the P40 series, Watch GT 2e, and an AI speaker - the company also showcased their own personal AI assistant called Celia. It seems that Celia will be used for the global more instead of China, as the video teaser showed that it can speak in French and translate foreign text on the spot.

Through the one-minute video, Celia can do the things that you'd expect from an AI Assistant with the likes of Siri, Bixby and Google Assistant, but with some bonuses. Just like the EMUI OS, Celia is able to calculate the number of calories on your food, as well as identifying objects (like Google Lens). Speaking of EMUI, the user can command Celia to do a certain task like using Eye Comfort mode, arranging an alarm, calling others and more.

Huawei didn't specify when Celia will be ready, but they do plan to release it this year in certain countries. So what do you think of it? Do you use an AI assistant at your convenience? Let us know at our Facebook page and stay tuned for more Huawei news at TechNave.com.
