It wasn't really that long ago when Huawei launch its P30 Pro in Malaysia. As many of you now know, the company had difficulties due to the lack of Google support. Despite that, the Chinese manufacturer has gone ahead to announced the release window for the P40 Pro in March 2020 anyway.

According to CNET, Huawei CEO Richard Yu had announced that the P40 and P40 Pro will be made known to all in an event, which is set to take place in Paris next March. The two devices will run on Android 10 but lack Google Mobile Services. This means no access to the Google Play Store, Google Maps, and more.

Due to the US government's blacklisting of Huawei, the company is unable to license Google's software. This is also why Huawei is looking to build its own operating system, also known as HongMeng OS or HarmonyOS. It's possible that the P40 and P40 Pro will launch with the new OS instead, though we can't confirm that yet.
