While fake news is not something new, but it has apparently become a national problem when the World Health Organization (WHO) have to step in. In fact, WHO even describe "fake news about COVID-19 is as dangerous as the virus itself".

As everyone knows, this is due to the constant fake news that keeps popping up online during this Movement Control Order period. Sharing news across multiple media platforms is so easy with just a push of a button and while that is convenient, it's also irresponsible for people who don't double the facts. Obviously, we don't need to tell you that misinformation can affect one's thinking - the example of some UK people burning their 5G transmitter towers is a good one (unbelievably stupid).

Sebenarnya.my portal and their Telegram account are also reliable that focuses on this, as well as listing out which news is providing false information.

As always, it's important to educate ourselves as a whole to become more aware of the facts. So think twice before sending or forwarding it to your friends and family. Stay tuned for more tech news at TechNave.com.
