Earlier on, we’ve mentioned WhatsApp will soon be able to have the shortcut to access the Messenger Rooms feature that was launched by Facebook last month and went live a few days ago. Today, the new Messenger Rooms feature is being integrated into Facebook-owned WhatsApp.

According to the reliable WABetaInfo, the latest 2.20.163 beta update on WhatsApp for Android bring a new “Room” option to the share menu inside the chat that directs you to Messenger to use the Messenger Rooms feature. To refresh your memory,  Messenger Rooms is a new feature that allows you to create a room for video calls with up to 50 people.

The shortcut can be found at the “Attach” button from the initial leaked alongside the photos and videos, camera, documents, and contacts. Now the shortcut is also available in the WhatsApp Calls tab as well. Once the user clicks on to it, the Messenger Rooms introduction will appear and will bring you to the app instead of having it on WhatsApp.

With that said, this feature is only available to a certain number of beta users in a few countries, but it should be coming to Malaysia soon. So what do you think about the new shortcut feature? Let us know at our Facebook page and stay tuned for more tech news update on TechNave.com!
