As we get closer to Huawei's unveiling of the Mate 40 series, more details of the new devices are starting to pop up as expected. For example, there was the promo video of its ultra-wide-angle camera and images of the retail box for the Mate 40 Pro+ yesterday. But now the pricing of some of the models could have been leaked online.

According to Gizchina, the Mate 40 Pro's prices could start at ~RM4216 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the one with 512GB storage will be priced at ~RM4836. Then there's the Mate 40 Pro+ ~RM5580 (12GB+256GB), followed by the Mate 40 RS for ~RM8060 (12GB+256GB) and ~RM9300 (16GB+512GB).

In certain regions, the prices could be even more expensive. For instance, well-known leaker @RODENT950 claimed to have the estimated prices for Europe. Allegedly, the Mate 40 Pro will be priced at about 1100 Euros (~RM5366), Mate 40 Pro+ around 1400 Euros (~RM6829), and Mate 40 RS for a whopping 2500 Euros (~RM12195). It's speculated that the reason for the price increase is because the Mate 40 series will not ship as many units as its predecessors.

Mind you, these are rumoured prices so do take them with a grain of salt. Also, the base Mate 40 model may have a more reasonable price too.
