More leaks of Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition show up before the launch
On 11 August, Xiaomi will hold an event in conjunction with the company's 10th anniversary to announce a few new products. Among them, we're expecting the arrival of two new smartphones that are the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition and the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition. Before the event happens, the insiders have leaked a few tech specs and an image of the phone case of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition (whew, it's a long name).
Just today, a snapshot of the tech specs from the Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition has been found on Weibo. It revealed that the device might come with variants made of different materials. There will be a ceramic back version that offers 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB storage options, a shiny silver version that offers 16/512GB, and a transparent version that comes with 12/256GB.
Other than the snapshot, an image of the phone case has also shown up on the same social media platform. According to the cases, it looks like the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition could have a huge rectangular camera module at the back. The main camera is expected to include a periscope that either provides 100 or 120x digital zoom. Other than that, fans have also made renders of the device based on the image.
To recap, the Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition might feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865/865+ chipset. It is also expected to have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. There could be a 4500mAh battery as well that supports impressive 100/120W fast charging. Earlier, it was reported that the device might be called Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra outside of China, so we can hope for a global launch to happen sooner or later!
