While Motorola itself has been rather quiet on the topic, its Moto Razr 2 was rumoured to be delayed until 2021. However, live photos of the device have been leaked recently, which suggests otherwise. Now reports claim that the company is planning for a launch in September.

According to Droid Life, Motorola has confirmed that it will be revealing something new on 9 September 2020. It's supposed to be an event that will "flip the smartphone experience once again". From the description, this is likely the clamshell foldable Motor Razr 2 that's been in the rumours the last few months.

Speaking of the rumoured device, the Moto Razr 2 is expected to be mid-range in tech specs and features the Snapdragon 765 chipset. Besides that, it's supposed to have up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a modest 2845mAh battery. In terms of camera, the rear camera will have 48MP and the front camera will have 20MP.

Based on what Motorola said, we're quite certain that the event will be for a foldable, but maybe the company has other devices to unveil too. What other Motorola device would you be interested to see? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
