Motorola officially unveils the Moto X40’s design ahead of its release

The Motorola Moto X40 has been in the rumour mills for quite some time and ahead of its imminent release later today in China, the company has officially revealed the design of the smartphone. Interestingly, the design is almost identical to a previous leak that we reported on before. 

Revealed by Motorola on its official Weibo account, the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand showcased renders of the Moto X40, including its front and back designs. On the front, the smartphone features a curved display with a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera.

Meanwhile, at its rear, the device sports a triple-camera setup with LED flash housed within a rectangular camera island. The Moto X40 colour options of Blue and Black were also revealed by the poster. 

The device is set to be launched in China at an event at 7.30pm local time later today. Previously, Motorola confirmed that the device will be one of the first in the world to e powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
