Now that Honor has launched the Honor 30S and Honor 9A, the company turns its attention to the next in line for launch. The Honor 30 series is set to launch on 15 April 2020 but details are being leaked way in advance. Recently, a new benchmark entry was found on Geekbench and it could be for the upcoming Honor 30 Pro.

According to the Geekbench 4 result, there is a Huawei EBG-AN00 device that's believed to be Honor's upcoming flagship device. If the EBG-AN00 is indeed the Honor 30 Pro, then it means that it will be using the Kirin 990 chipset. It will also come with 8GB of RAM, which should be the maximum that this model would have.

For your information, the Huawei P40's (Huawei ANA-AN00) Geekbench 4 result shows the same CPU identifier, which is why we concluded that the Honor 30 Pro is using the same chipset. Besides the chipset, the Honor 30 Pro is also expected to house a new 50MP Sony lens as its main camera, along with a 12MP ultrawide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.

Regardless, we still don't know what the phone looks like or when it will launch in Malaysia. For now, we'll just have to wait for the big reveal on 15 April 2020.
