If you're interested in the Apple Glasses, you'll be waiting for some time. No one seems to know if it's in 2021 or 2022 just yet, but a new leak has some new details on it. A well-known leaker on display-related news claimed to have some specs for the display of the device.

According to Ross Young, his sources have told him that the Apple Glasses will be using lenses from Sony. Specifically, it'll be small micro OLED panels from Sony that are 0.5-inches in width. That's certainly not big enough to cover the width of an eye, so it's speculated that these micro OLED panels will be placed inside larger lenses.

The micro OLED panels can allegedly deliver a resolution of 1280x960, a contrast ratio of 100000:1, and a response time of 0.01ms. Also, Sony's website mentions that it'll have a wide colour gamut. These panels are expected to be available within the first half of 2022, which means the Apple Glasses probably won't be available till late 2022.

Mind you, the above is speculation at best, so don't take it too seriously. With that said, what do you hope to see (heh!) from the Apple Glasses when it launches? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about it.
