So looks like our wild guess about the OPPO R17 Pro turns out to be true, the new triple camera-centric smartphone will be coming to Malaysia after all and OPPO Malaysia is going to host an "OPPO Night Explorer Recruitment" event for the O-fans, which they will get to have a first hands-on experience with the R17 Pro in advance!
Details on the fan event are still a mystery, as there is no set date nor time. However, the recruitment form is already up online here and those who are interested can go ahead to fill up the set of questionnaire. There is a catch, though, participants will also need to upload three night photo samples and only a number of them will get chosen to join the fan event in Kuala Lumpur. The lucky winners will be announced on 16 November 2018.
We have mentioned the tech specs before, not only the triple camera setup is one of the highlights but its tri-colour gradient design as well. According to the company, the R17 Pro is the first in the market to adopt a 3D Fog Glass technology, it's a matte glass processed by a special matte etching technology to reflect the cool turquoise and purple combo like a wave from different angles, while minimizing fingerprints smudge on it at the same time.
