We're just a few days away from the launch of the OPPO Reno5 series, but the leaks just keep coming. Besides news of the possible Reno5 4G for global markets, another recent leak suggests that one of the Reno5 series models could come with a flagship-class chipset.

According to a source from Weibo (via GSMArena), there will be a high-end Reno5 Pro+ 5G model that's part of the launch and it could come with a Snapdragon 865 chipset. In addition to that, the phone will allegedly feature a 50MP Sony IMX7xx series camera sensor, along with a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 16MP ultra-wide camera. As for the small fourth camera seen in the image, it's probably a depth sensor.

Other than the specs, the source mentioned that the Reno5 Pro+ 5G model may come in two variants. The first one will have a back cover with plain leather, while the second one will have what's called an "electrochromic" back cover. This may be referring to the "luminous materials" mentioned in another leak last week. Some other tech specs like the 65W fast-charging were also previously revealed.

The Reno5 series is set to launch on 10 December 2020, so we'll find out if these rumours are true soon enough. Having said that, would you be interested in this rumoured flagship-level Reno5 Pro+ 5G? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates.
