OPPO is set to unveil several new technologies at its INNO Day event later today. Besides the new AR glasses that we've previously mentioned, it has been confirmed that one of the big highlights would be a new device that features a rollable display.

In a teaser post on Twitter, OPPO mentioned that it will a concept phone at the event that will "usher in a new era of screen". The teaser image doesn't show much, but a patent back in August suggests that it would be a phone with a sliding mechanism. As for the display, it's believed that the supplier would be TCL, which revealed a prototype rollable display earlier in March this year.

OPPO's tweet also talked about exploring different shapes and forms. This reminds us of a previous rumour about OPPO submitting patents for devices that can be folded into different configurations. It could mean that OPPO is also working on developing a foldable smartphone, one that may be showcased at INNO Day as well.

Since these are just prototypes, we have no idea when OPPO will release such devices. Having said that, which concept would you be more interested in: the rollable or foldable phone? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates on this.
