OnePlus 3 and 3T to receive Android O upgrade

OnePlus delivers to fans once again, showing their commitment to their phone support with their decision to provide upgrades to the latest Android OS, the Android O on their older models, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.

The confirmation came from Mr OnePlus himself, CEO Pete Lau and his twitter account. He tweets that he is proud to announce that Android O will come to OnePlus 3 and 3T.

This spells good news for OnePlus fans as the upcoming OnePlus 5 should have this upgrade as well even though it will probably ship with Android 7 Nougat. No launch dates has been mentioned by Pete himself but it might be awhile before that comes, so make sure to stay tuned for the Malaysian launch.

However, what is going to happen to the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X that was released not two years ago? Perhaps this question will be answered in the future but do stay tuned to to find out more.
