Wew, the OnePlus 7 Pro is looking to make a huge leap from last year’s predecessor, the OnePlus 6. This year, the company’s flagship device may be released with a Quad HD+ display and a whopping 90Hz refresh rate, rivaling other gaming smartphones out there.
From what we know, the device may feature a triple rear camera setup (which includes a primary sensor, telephoto and ultra-wide lens) and a Super AMOLED display. Not a lot of tech specs have been revealed either but it is speculated that the device may be released with an impressive 4000mAh battery capacity with 30W Warp Charge, USB-C connectivity and stereo speakers.

Prior to this, OnePlus had only ever had 1080 panels as their display so a QHD+ jump is huge. The 90Hz refresh rate is a very interesting feature to have which will definitely appeal to gamers. So far, the ASUS ROG gaming phone has the same refresh rate and both these phones are still bested by the Razer Phone series which currently has 120Hz. But honestly, does any mobile game even support high refresh rates right now or is it just a gimmick?
The OnePlus 7 has been said to be launched on the 14th of March. The device may also feature a pop selfie camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and 3 different colours. What we won’t be seeing on this device is wireless charging but I doubt that would bother us much considering how good their fast charging technology is right now. Or does it bother you?
