If the confirmation that OnePlus is working on the operating system for a smartwatch isn't enough, then further confirmation that a product is coming should be. Some OnePlus fans have been waiting for the OnePlus Watch since it was first announced a few years back and now it's finally coming.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed on Twitter that a OnePlus Watch would be coming early next year. While no exact date is given, the company may showcase it at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021, which will be held from 11 to 14 January 2021. The company will probably unveil the OnePlus 9 series, as well as provide more details on the colour-changing Concept 8T.

But what do we know about the OnePlus Watch so far? Well, it's confirmed that the OS will be Google's Wear OS. Assuming OnePlus hasn't deviated too much from its initial designs from a few years back, we can also expect it to have a round metallic body.
