Finally, after a month of announcing the Sony PlayStation 5 availability in Malaysia, the next-gen gaming console will officially launch tomorrow as advertised. The PS5 proved to be popular as pre-order units got sold out very quickly and Sony Malaysia would like to remind everyone that there won't be any units available for in-store purchase.

Posted just today before tomorrow, Sony Malaysia apologizes to the Malaysian PS fans who have been waiting so long when the pre-order units were gone. In case you forget, the pre-order was sold out online within minutes after past midnight and it didn't take long for the physical stores to run out of stock before evening time. Many eager fans were definitely disappointed, but Sony promised to have more PS5 units in stock before the end of 2020

While that's assuring, we think the West would be prioritised first since Sony Malaysia just announced that there won't be any units during the launch. That said, they also reminded those who pre-order to maintain social distancing rules when they come to collect at the respective retailer stores. Are you one of the lucky ones who got the PS5?
