Sony promises to have more PS5 units in stock before end of 2020

The launch of the Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) in Malaysia hasn't been the smoothest. Not only was the launch date in Malaysia delayed, but prices of games could also go up and retail stores were taking advantage of the low supply. But at least Sony is looking to alleviate the supply issue.

According to an official tweet from PlayStation, the PS5 has become Sony's biggest console launch ever and demand for the consoles is unprecedented. The great news here is that Sony has promised that more PS5 stocks will be sent to retailers before the end of the year. However, Sony didn't mention which countries will be getting more stock.

Considering that the Twitter account belongs to PlayStation US, it's likely that extra inventory will be allocated there first. If that's the case, you could try to stalk Amazon.com to see if you can buy one from there when it becomes available. Of course, that does mean you'll have to bear with shipping costs.

Having said that, have any of you managed to get your hands on a Sony PS5? What are your thoughts on the console so far? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates on this.
