Earlier in June, there was a rumour suggesting that Samsung may have halted production of the Galaxy S21 FE. That decision was most likely reverted, which means the company could launch it this year as planned. In fact, there's even an official teaser of it now.

Courtesy of Android Headlines, we get to see an official promo banner for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G. Other than the name, the banner confirms a few details about the new fan edition. Firstly, there are at least four colours available: White, dark grey, light purple, and light green. Secondly, it has a triple-camera setup at the back. Also, it will have a polycarbonate frame like the Galaxy S20 FE.

Of course, these details were already revealed in previous rumours. But the fan renders weren't 100% accurate. While the camera bump looked rather thick in leaked renders, it's clearly not that bad on the actual phone. The sides and edges of the phone also look more rounded in the official promo banner.

However, it's said that Samsung won't be launching this phone till October 2021. This delay could be due to insufficient Snapdragon 888 chipsets, though we can't confirm if that's true. Hopefully, Samsung will reveal more details in the weeks to come. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for other news like this.
