Looks more like a chunky iPod

When it comes to the development of prototype products, there will definitely be a lot of security to ensure that things don't get leaked out. Well, at least not before it's ready to be leaked. Apple has a pretty interesting take on security though, which was recently revealed.

The folks at Apple Demo have shown how the security case for the Apple Watch looks like. Essentially, the product is locked inside a case, but the UI is reflected on the display on top. This prototype came with the 'PVTe' label, which is assumed to mean "Production Validation Testing (engineering)".

Since this is a recent video, this may be an early prototype for a new Apple Watch for 2021. On that topic, there's been a few rumours about Apple Watch features in development. One is that Apple could be making a wristband that contains batteries, while another suggests that Apple is making a smartwatch with a hidden camera.

Are all these features being tested while wrapped in this security case? It looks over the top, but maybe it's required due to how people love to leak info these days. What do you think? Do drop by our Facebook page to comment on this and stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
