ASUS recently launched the highly-anticipated ROG Phone 3 and the smartphone has done pretty well as many hoped. It's only been about a month since then, but the company is already looking to release a new variant of the device. Sources have found that a new CrossFire Special Edition is now available on Jingdong.
As you can see from the product reservation page, you'll be able to pre-order this special edition till 22 September 2020 for 4699 yuan (~RM2863). It was mentioned that this will be a limited edition run, but the total number of pre-orders has reportedly surpassed the 160000, so it looks like ASUS plans to have a lot of stock in hand. Note that this variant of the ROG Phone 3 will be using the Snapdragon 865+ chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.
The main bonuses for this special edition are mostly the in-game perks for CrossFire
So, what's different in this special edition? In terms of design, nothing. But you'll be getting a bunch of goodies and in-game perks for CrossFire, as well as game optimisation to GKart, Honor of Kings, and more. This will be done with the help of the Tencent Solar Core 3.0 game acceleration engine.
Mind you, we can't confirm if this special edition will be available in Malaysia. You could directly order it from Jingdong if you want the perks for CrossFire and the pricing would be cheaper than buying one here.
